DEUTZ-FAHR Tractor package with LED Light for 7 Series Tractors

DEUTZ-FAHR in collaboration with HELLA has developed an industry-first LED lighting for its award-winning line of 7 Series tractors.

the DEUTZ-FAHR 7250 WARRIOR utilizes the HELLA Module 70 LED Generation IV, which offers the highest light output in this compact design. It is the first tractor in the market to incorporate an LED light package of the latest generation.

The new tractor is equipped with a perfect mix of Module 70 LED work lights with close, long and extra wide range illumination, allowing for a homogeneous light distribution across the workspace exactly where it is needed. The black lamp housings are made of aluminum and incorporate cooling fins to dissipate heat from the high-power LEDs.

“LED lighting is very similar to daylight,” notes Carl Brown, president of HELLA Inc. in Peachtree City, GA. “It helps to combat fatigue by allowing equipment operators to distinguish colors more easily after dark.”

Each Warrior LED module has three, high-performance multi-chip LEDs and is rated to 2,470 lumens while consuming just 30 watts of energy. The electronics of the Module 70 LED are multi-volt compatible and can therefore be operated with a 12 or 24-volt power supply.

The LED module’s integrated electronics protect it in case of a polarity inversion and guarantees constant brightness, even when operating voltage fluctuates between nine and 33 volts. Temperature sensors also protect the lamps from overheating.

“The benefits of LED lighting combined with the features we’ve designed into the DEUTZ-FAHR work lamps guarantee a long service life that will provide a safe night-time work environment,” added Brown.
